BAE Systems Lands $75 Million Deal to Revolutionize Geospatial Intelligence for the U.S. Army

BAE Systems has been selected to assist the U.S. Army in developing cutting-edge geospatial intelligence capabilities aimed at enhancing soldier situational awareness.

The U.S. Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM) has awarded BAE Systems a five-year contract valued at up to $75 million to provide improved geospatial intelligence technical and analytical support.

This contract falls under the INSCOM Global Intelligence indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity agreement.

BAE Systems will focus on the analysis and processing of geospatial data, generating various intelligence outputs for INSCOM’s Military Intelligence Brigade – Theatre Integrated GEOINT Divisions. The company’s team of experts will also partner with the Army on next-generation geospatial intelligence advancements and experimental intelligence collection technologies.

“We are excited to contribute to the development of solutions that enhance the situational awareness and safety of our personnel in uniforms,” remarked DeEtte Gray, president of BAE Systems’ Intelligence & Security division.

The majority of the activities will occur within the United States, with some operations taking place globally.

BAE Systems provides a comprehensive array of services and solutions, including intelligence analysis, cybersecurity operations, IT, systems development, systems integration, as well as operations and maintenance, to empower the U.S. military and government in identifying, managing, and countering threats. The organization is dedicated to supporting critical national security initiatives that protect the nation and those who serve it.
