Jordan Poised to Spark Excitement at the 13th Annual Warrior Challenge!
The Arab Army is set to host the 13th annual global Warrior Challenge from 25 to 29 August at the King Abdullah II Special Operations Training Center (KASOTC), drawing significant participation from allied nations.
A total of 33 teams representing 20 nations have registered for the event, with an additional 13 countries attending as observers. The competition has garnered global attention for its rigorous challenges designed to assess endurance, teamwork, and combat skills, leveraging state-of-the-art military operations, weaponry, and modern facilities that focus on special forces, counter-terrorism, and internal security missions.

This event is part of the Jordanian Armed Forces’ comprehensive training programs aimed at enhancing the efficiency and preparedness of its personnel, ensuring they are fully equipped to tackle future challenges and threats.
Launched in May 2009, the Annual Warrior Challenge serves as a combat-oriented event that pits elite military and police special operations teams against one another. Teams are assessed on activities that measure physical fitness, firearms proficiency, medical competencies, and theoretical evaluations.
Each year, the challenge is updated to respond to the continuously changing threats posed by terrorism. Competing “Warriors” are expected to demonstrate expertise and flexibility in marksmanship, endurance, collaboration, strategic tactics, and battlefield communication. They are evaluated by a panel of distinguished international experts with varied military and law enforcement backgrounds. Numerous international and regional teams participate annually.
