“Hanwha Systems Set to Enhance Egypt’s Defense with K11 Tactical Control Export”
Hanwha Systems Co., a prominent defense enterprise from South Korea, announced on Monday its plans to export advanced fire tactical control systems of the K11 Fire Direction Center Vehicle and the enhanced K9A1 version to Egypt.
The total value of the two agreements amounts to 30.5 billion won ($20.7 million) and 44.3 billion won, respectively.
The firm intends to initiate deliveries in the first half of the coming year, continuing the supply chain until December 2028.
According to Hanwha Systems, this marks the inaugural export of a fire tactical control system created by a South Korean defense manufacturer to international markets.
Countries like Poland and Norway, which have procured Fire Direction Center Vehicles, have been outfitted with indigenous systems from local manufacturers owing to variations in operational frameworks.
