Pacific Propeller Secures Five-Year Partnership with the U.S. Coast Guard
Kent, WA – August 4, 2016 – The United States Coast Guard (USCG) has officially granted Pacific Propeller International (PPI) a five-year support contract. This important contract focuses on delivering overhaul services for the Hamilton Sundstrand 54H60-117 propeller assembly and its components.
The 54H60-117 propeller system is integral to the USCG’s C-130 Hercules fleet, which is utilized for Heavy Lift and Search and Rescue operations. This five-year agreement includes a one-year base contract, along with four additional single-year options that allow for continued collaboration.
PPI, recognized as an FAA authorized repair station certified under FAR 145, has established itself as a premier global repair and overhaul facility over the past fifty years. The company has previously received various smaller, specific awards for the USCG 54H60 propeller. “This competitive five-year contract highlights the unwavering confidence the USCG has in PPI’s commitment to supporting their fleet,” stated Al Hayward, VP and Director of Sales and Marketing. “We possess the necessary facility, in-house capabilities, and expertise that meet the rigorous demands of customers like the USCG.
