Dassault Aviation’s Spectacular Showcase at the 2023 Paris Air Show

Dassault Aviation is delighted to showcase its dual civil/military expertise to industry professionals and the general audience at the 54th edition of the Paris Air Show, taking place at Paris-Le Bourget Airport from June 19 to 25, 2023.

The Dassault Aviation exhibit is featuring models of its aircraft beneath a massive video display. An immersive “Rafale Experience” area will allow attendees to engage in a virtual reality flight simulation.

The static exhibition will highlight the Rafale, Falcon 8X, 6X, and 2000LXS, along with full-scale replicas of the NGF and the Falcon 10X cabin. The Falcons showcased at the event will operate on fuels composed of 30% sustainable aviation fuel (SAF); they will later transition to utilizing 50% blends as they become available. The Falcon 10X will be the first model fully compatible with 100% SAF.

The static presentation will also include a section dedicated to Dassault Aviation’s collaborative air combat solutions and customer service offerings.

The Rafale will be exhibited in flight by the French Air and Space Force, while the Falcon 6X will take to the skies under the command of our test pilots.

Dassault Aviation will engage in the 5th edition of “L’Avion des Métiers” (Careers Plane) and participate in the “L’Aéro Recrute” recruitment initiative; an HR information desk will be continually accessible at our stand. Individuals interested in aeronautical careers will have the opportunity to view demonstrations and explore job openings with Dassault’s engineers, technicians, skilled craftsmen, and HR representatives. This year, Dassault Aviation plans to recruit 1,000 personnel across various sectors: design, production, support, digital, and more.

Furthermore, Dassault Aviation will be present at the Paris Air Lab, an innovative exploration area where the company’s experts will be showcasing developments in decarbonized air transportation and Industry 4.0 production techniques.

In conclusion, Dassault Aviation will warmly welcome its partners at the show, as part of its social responsibility initiatives:

  • “Elles bougent,” an association that promotes technical and scientific career paths for young women
  • “Féminisons les métiers de l’aéronautique et du spatial,” a collaborative body of businesses in the sector advocating for gender diversity
  • “Hanvol,” an organization co-founded by Dassault Aviation that aids the retraining of individuals with disabilities in the aerospace domain.

Eric Trappier, Chairman and CEO of Dassault Aviation, stated: “This 54th Paris Air Show will exemplify our forward-looking vision in our primary sectors: military aviation, which safeguards our nation and allies, enhancing France’s sovereignty and Europe’s strategic independence; and business aviation, which links enterprises with unprecedented efficiency, safety, and a focus on environmental responsibility, particularly through the use of SAF.”

“Le Bourget is also a venue to honor the remarkable enthusiasm for aeronautics demonstrated by the French populace for over a century. We are thrilled to once again welcome the public, whose passion for our industry remains as robust as ever,” Trappier added.

Having delivered over 10,000 military and civil aircraft (including 2,700 Falcons) across more than 90 nations in the last century, Dassault Aviation has cultivated globally recognized expertise in the design, development, marketing, and support of all aircraft categories, from the Rafale fighter jet to the premium Falcon range of business jets, military drones, and space systems.
