Oshkosh Defense Appoints New Leader to Drive Growth in Saudi Arabia

OSHKOSH, Wis., (August 2, 2016) — Oshkosh Defense, LLC, a division of Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE: OSK), has appointed Donald Galli as the Managing Director for Oshkosh Saudi Arabia. In this role, Galli will be situated in Riyadh and will supervise Oshkosh’s operations, encompassing the comprehensive military and security range of tactical wheeled vehicles, engineering and integration services, along with lifecycle sustainment solutions for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Galli is a retired U.S. Army Colonel with over 30 years of distinguished service. His most recent role was Senior Military Advisor and Assistant Program Manager of Aviation for the Office of the Program Manager of the Saudi Arabian National Guard. His extensive experience includes positions such as Chief of Staff at the U.S. Army War College, Chief of Staff at the U.S. Army Aviation Center, and Commander of the 3rd Infantry Division Combat Aviation Brigade.

Oshkosh has diligently supported military forces in the Middle East for nearly three decades and boasts a strong presence with program offices in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. Countries across the region, particularly the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, rely on Oshkosh vehicles daily for tactical and logistical operations, and Oshkosh is prepared to enhance its long-term commitment to the region with Galli’s appointment.
