
ASELSAN Set to Launch Groundbreaking 20-Missile GÖKSUR Defense System at EURONAVAL 2024
ASELSAN will unveil the enhanced model of the GÖKSUR Point Missile Defense System, featuring a launcher with a capacity of 20 missiles, at EURONAVAL 2024, scheduled in Paris from November 4-7.
ASELSAN, Turkey’s leading defense enterprise, will exhibit a comprehensive array of its state-of-the-art naval electronic warfare systems, underwater innovations, sophisticated naval communication solutions, and electro-optical systems, in addition to its autonomous surface and underwater
vehicles.
The firm will reveal a next-generation variant of GÖKSUR, the advanced PDMS (Point Defense Missile System), equipped with a launcher capable of holding 20 missiles.
ASELSAN GÖKSUR. GÖKSUR 100-N possesses 360-degree target neutralization capability.
The latest GÖKSUR configuration, known as GÖKSUR 100-N, incorporates the GÖKSUR IIR missile.
This missile, guided by IIR technology, was originally developed for air-to-air engagements and has now been adapted for maritime defense purposes.
GÖKSUR 100-N boasts a 360-degree target neutralization capability, rapid deployment under challenging sea conditions, and exceptional performance in multi-threat environments, thanks to its swift turret stabilization feature.
It further exhibits high effectiveness and the ability to engage multiple targets simultaneously, supported by an advanced fire control system integrated with AI features and mid-course guidance capabilities against contemporary anti-ship threats.
With its expanded missile capacity, GÖKSUR 100-N enhances operational adaptability and significantly boosts the vessel’s situational awareness.
Various configurations of GÖKSUR PDMS, including GÖKSUR 100-N VLS (a flexible and modular Vertical Launcher System) and GÖKSUR 100-N/StA (a turret designed for stand-alone operations), are also available, offering users tailored air and missile defense solutions.
ASELSAN will additionally feature the GÖKDENİZ Close-in Weapon System, MARLİN Unmanned Surface Vehicle, DÜFAS Low-Frequency Active Sonar System, and DERİNGÖZ Autonomous Underwater Vehicle at EURONAVAL 2024.
