Rheinmetall Unveils Next-Gen Skyguard 3 for Air Defense Revolution
Rheinmetall has been granted a contract by a global client to deliver aerial defense solutions. The shipments, which also encompass munitions and replacement parts, are anticipated to be finalized by 2024. The overall value of the contract is approximately €65 million.
The systems requested are Oerlikon Skyguard 3 equipped with GDF009 dual cannons and airburst-capable AHEAD munitions, also manufactured by Rheinmetall.
