
HAVELSAN Teams Up with Chilean Navy to Revolutionize Defense with ADVENT Combat Technology
HAVELSAN, a distinguished technology-driven organization within the Turkish defense industry, continuously strengthens its international collaborations. In this context, a notable agreement was established on March 27, 2025, between HAVELSAN and the Chilean Navy.
As per this agreement, the ADVENT Combat Management System (CMS), renowned for its exemplary command-and-control capabilities, will be provided to enhance two frigates in the Chilean Navy’s fleet.
The project is expected to be completed within four years. The ADVENT CMS will be seamlessly integrated into both frigates throughout this duration, guaranteeing impeccable interoperability with the existing onboard systems and armaments.

Chile Emerges as the 9th Country to Enter the ADVENT Network
With this initiative, Chile rises to become the 9th country to integrate the ADVENT Combat Management System into its naval assets. Initially unveiled on the Turkish Navy’s TCG KINALIADA corvette, ADVENT continues its journey across global waters, expanding its reach and attracting increased international attention.

ADVENT is a comprehensive combat management system designed to meet modern naval warfare demands. Based on a network-centric operational model and multi-force task structure, ADVENT enables seamless collaboration among maritime assets.
Created in close cooperation with the Turkish Naval Forces Command, ADVENT proudly holds the title of being the first combat management system specifically designed for the Turkish Navy.
This system encompasses all operational functions including threat evaluation, decision support, target identification, and the management of armaments and sensors, equipping commanders with improved situational awareness and operational competency. With its user-friendly interfaces, extensive integration capabilities, and indigenous software foundation, ADVENT excels in security, flexibility, and mission preparedness.
