EOS Defence Systems (EOS) has formalised a Memorandum of Understanding with Shielders Advanced Industries, an expert in metal processing, profiling, and fabrication based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This significant collaboration was established at the recent Ajban Defence Industry and Technology Exhibition in the UAE, marking a pivotal advancement in the defence manufacturing arena.
This alliance aims to merge the expertise of both entities to establish a joint venture dedicated to bolstering the UAE’s defence capabilities and facilitating its economic expansion. EOS will introduce its state-of-the-art remote weapon system (RWS) design and production technology to the UAE, while Shielders Advanced Industries will contribute its manufacturing facilities, fabrication, and processing proficiency.

EOS’ RWS stands out globally, having demonstrated operational effectiveness and being employed by military forces across Australia, North America, Europe, and South-East Asia. Recognised for their precision and dependability, EOS has successfully marketed over 2,500 systems worldwide.
The joint venture will primarily concentrate on producing the lightweight R150 RWS while prioritising the utilisation of local expertise and a robust UAE sovereign supply chain.
