
Spanish Firms Secure Major Contract for SPY-7 Radar Production with Lockheed Martin
Lockheed Martin, the leading aerospace and defense enterprise, has awarded procurement agreements to Indra, Escribano Mechanical and Engineering, and ICM (Integral de Conexión y Montajes, S.L.) for AN/SPY-7(V)2 components intended for the F-110 frigate.
As part of Lockheed Martin’s pledge to enhance its international procurement network, these agreements seek to incorporate Spain into the company’s extensive SPY-7 supply chain, bolstering resilience and increasing production capabilities.

The Legacy
Lockheed Martin and Spanish industry have collaborated to manufacture over 90 water coolers and auxiliary devices, 30,000 cables, 1.8 m power supplies, along with microelectronic and RF components for the worldwide SPY-1 fleet.
