Arnold Defense, the St. Louis-based creator of 2.75-inch rocket systems, is thrilled to declare the receipt of an initial order for their innovative FLETCHER Land Based, Laser Guided Rocket Launcher.
The FLETCHER 2.75-inch/70mm arms system was first revealed merely 18 months ago at DSEi in London. Since its debut, FLETCHER has been presented at various international exhibitions, sparking remarkable levels of enthusiasm, while Arnold Defense has persistently pursued a development and investment strategy to expand and validate the system’s already groundbreaking capabilities.
With FLETCHER, Arnold Defense has embarked on an audacious shift from the conventional application of 2.75-inch rocket systems; traditionally perceived as area suppression munitions delivered via aerial assets. Arnold’s innovation has transformed FLETCHER into a platform that leverages advanced rocket-guidance technology, employing ground-based launch systems. This evolution addresses the requirements of modern, vehicle-mounted, and dismounted asymmetric conflict.
The distinctive design of FLETCHER facilitates effortless operation, maintenance, and sustainability. The inaugural customer for the FLETCHER system, whose identity remains confidential, has committed to procuring FLETCHER due to the system’s remarkable capability to accurately engage targets at distances exceeding 5km, boasting a 100% hit rate in recent test-firings. This initial order pertains to a preliminary batch of launchers, with expectations for a larger order following the successful completion of user trials and demonstrations.
