“Accelerating Innovation: MBDA Joins Forces with Europe to Boost ENFORCER Missile Manufacturing”

MBDA is experiencing a significant enhancement for its ENFORCER missile system, thanks to a proposed funding initiative from the European Commission’s ASAP (Accelerated Support for Advanced Procurements) program. This initiative, referred to as the ENFORCER Production Increase Campaign (EPIC), seeks to substantially elevate production levels at MBDA’s facilities in Schrobenhausen, Germany, and colleague sites throughout Europe.

Enhanced Production, Swift Delivery

MBDA CEO, Eric Beranger, expresses optimism regarding the project’s influence. He emphasizes EPIC’s significance in “greatly amplifying ENFORCER production, enhancing reactivity, and hastening deliveries.” With initial distributions to the German Armed Forces anticipated for this year and an export agreement in place, MBDA is already advancing with series manufacturing. The objective is to elevate production to fulfill the increasing demand for this groundbreaking weapon system.

Fortifying European Defense

This progress highlights MBDA’s dedication to reinforcing Europe’s defense capabilities. As a dominant entity in missile technology within Europe, MBDA is actively augmenting production across the continent. The ASAP EPIC initiative is vital in bolstering European defense robustness and securing the independence of client nations and their allies.

The ENFORCER Edge

The ENFORCER system is distinguished by its portability, lightweight architecture, and remarkable accuracy. This shoulder-fired, fire-and-forget missile features a maximum operational range of 2 kilometers. ENFORCER’s versatility for both day and night missions, indoor deployment, and capacity to accurately target lightly armored adversaries, even in urban settings, renders it an indispensable tool for agile ground forces. Moreover, the system’s modular framework lays the foundation for a future series of ENFORCER munitions, suitable for land, air, and maritime applications.
