Collins Aerospace has established a memorandum of understanding with SRB Aerial Systems L.L.C to facilitate research, enhancement, and implementation of unmanned aerial vehicles and robotics for utilization by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Collins will leverage its vast expertise in Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) integration to assist SRB Aerial Systems. The firm’s mission systems hardware alongside its software, coupled with its capabilities in radio communication, imaging, and sensor innovation, will be invaluable in cultivating UAS sovereign capabilities within the nation.

“This collaboration is a significant milestone in advancing the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 to introduce domestically owned and produced products to KSA,” asserted Colin Mahoney, President of Customer & Account Management, Collins Aerospace. “Collins’ offerings will feature on domestically manufactured UAS, broadening our combined market and supporting the objectives of both present and future missions.”

SRB Aerial Systems stands as a frontrunner in the conceptualization, development, and production of UAV products and solutions. As one of the few UAV manufacturers within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, SRB Company aims to deliver 100% domestically owned and manufactured UAS to the nation.

“In unison, SRB Aerial Systems and Collins Aerospace will establish the framework to bolster research and advancement of strategic UAS and robotic technologies for the Saudi forces as we aspire to expand our offerings to include UAS munitions and Urban Air Mobility solutions,” emphasized Major General (ret.)
