Collins Secures Groundbreaking $317 Million Deal for Military Radio Installations Across 400+ Platforms

Collins Aerospace, based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, has secured a modification award worth $316,733,831 (P00015) to a previously established firm-fixed-price contract N00421-18-D-0004.

This modification activates an option for the acquisition of 11,313 AN/ARC-210(v) radios intended for deployment across more than 400 strategic and tactical airborne, maritime, and land-based (both mobile and stationary) systems utilized by the Navy, Marine Corps, Army, Coast Guard, various governmental bodies, and international military sales clientele.

Operations will take place in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, with completion anticipated by September 2023.

No financial resources are being committed at the time of the award. Resources will be allocated on specific delivery orders as they are generated.

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, located in Patuxent River, Maryland, is overseeing the contracting process.
