Revolutionizing Road Safety: Escribano’s Cutting-Edge Vehicle Cameras
Escribano M&E, the Spanish premier manufacturer specializing in infrared technology for lens production (IR/visible), has developed the designated driving cameras for the armored Pizarro Phase II vehicles, belonging to the Spanish Armed Forces. This
agreement encompasses 83 vehicle cameras, significantly enhancing the functionality of these units.
This camera enhances situational awareness for the vehicle operator, ensuring that the soldier remains protected as there is no requirement to exit the vehicle for visibility. The system utilizes a camera that incorporates both Visible and IR sensors. The setup can be augmented with VTCDual, featuring a rear-mounted IR camera.
The front camera integrates dual sensors: one for the IR camera, an uncooled LWIR infrared sensor, and the other for the visible spectrum. The rear camera features an IR sensor. Thanks to its cutting-edge technology, the VTC system delivers high-definition visuals in extreme environmental conditions for both daytime and nighttime operations, displayed on a
rugged 8.4” HD monitor that offers high contrast and night vision capabilities.
VTC and VTC-Dual present a highly adaptable solution for lightweight, unmanned, and armored vehicles, as their modular design facilitates easy maintenance and ensures exceptional reliability of the system.
