C3 AI Partners with Raytheon Technologies for Cutting-Edge AI/ML Innovations in the US Army’s TITAN Initiative
C3 AI, the Enterprise AI software firm, has today revealed that Raytheon Technologies has chosen the C3 AI Application Platform to provide state-of-the-art AI and machine learning (ML) functionalities for an immediate solution for the U.S. Army’s Tactical Intelligence Targeting Access Node (TITAN) initiative. The Raytheon Technologies team, spearheaded by Raytheon Intelligence & Space, is competing to design TITAN as the Army’s foundational solution to facilitate multi-domain operations.
TITAN is a tactical ground unit that identifies and monitors threats to aid in long-range precision targeting, thereby enhancing the Department of Defense’s strategy for Joint Force Command and Control (JADC2) capabilities essential for safeguarding U.S. national security interests. The C3 AI Application Platform will deliver AI/ML model operations (ML Ops) for top-tier third-party models throughout the TITAN framework, encompassing both cloud and intermittently connected edge environments.
“This collaboration merges Raytheon Intelligence & Space’s proficiency in aerospace and defense with C3 AI’s established know-how in enterprise AI to bolster crucial national security interests via next-gen technology,” stated Thomas M. Siebel, Chairman and CEO of C3 AI. “We eagerly anticipate partnering with Raytheon Technologies to provide this innovative AI-driven, mission-capable solution of the future.”
TITAN will assimilate data from space, high-altitude aerial, and terrestrial sensors to generate actionable data for defense systems. It will also offer multi-source intelligence support for targeting, as well as situational awareness and comprehension for commanders. By capitalizing on functionalities that facilitate pattern-of-life understanding and automated target recognition, the TITAN solution will assist operators in interpreting the vast quantities of data and engaging a target with the optimal solution.
