RobotEye Secures $12.5M Valuation Boost from ARZPortfoy in Groundbreaking Investment for Turkish AI Defense Firm

RobotEye AI, which creates state-of-the-art intelligent surveillance and reconnaissance systems, acquired funding from ARZ Portfoy, recognized for its investments in tech-based startup enterprises, at a valuation of $12.5 million to boost its border protection solutions. This funding signifies a pivotal advancement in meeting defense and security system needs from Western Europe, North Africa, the Arabian Peninsula, and Indo-Pacific nations confronting border security issues.

RobotEye AI swiftly penetrated the intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance sector with its
devices meticulously engineered for extensive and challenging terrains where conventional human-operated border
security systems falter and communication networks are insufficient. These pioneering
and intelligent systems deliver economical and entirely autonomous solutions, owing to expertly developed,
field-tested artificial intelligence algorithms. RobotEye’s command and control software platform,
“Central”, modernizes legacy devices, diminishes human reliance in existing defense frameworks, and
functions as an advanced decision support mechanism. RobotEye’s patented flagship product “Smart
Trailcam – Solo” integrates satellite connectivity and on-device edge AI to safeguard critical cross-border points.

Engineered for tactical and special operations teams, the “Eye” System fosters situational awareness
irrespective of any communication infrastructure in the field. The system fortifies the security of
special forces operating in both domestic and cross-border sensitive zones by safeguarding them from
infiltration and sabotage threats, thus enhancing their overall security.

Dr. Ferit Cakici, the CEO of RobotEye AI, expressed, “This backing from ARZ Portfoy will furnish robust
support to our company’s technology and vision. With this influx of capital, we will expedite our growth,
broaden our technological capacity, and amplify our ability to meet global security
requirements.”

Murat Onuk, who acts as the Board Member and CEO of ARZ Portfoy, commented, “Defense industry
initiatives producing next-gen solutions that are smart and AI-driven, requiring no human
intervention, have started to emerge globally. The Turkish venture RobotEye distinguishes itself in this domain, addressing a crucial void in border protection and surveillance with their uniquely designed AI-enhanced smart
surveillance systems. We are thrilled to back an inventive and visionary Turkish enterprise like
RobotEye on an international scale.”

Recent security challenges in multiple regions worldwide have escalated the demand for AI-enhanced
defense technologies and underscored the significance of firms engaged in this sector. Companies
such as Anduril Industries, Helsing, and Shield AI, which garner attention with their unmanned and intelligent
defense solutions, have already achieved billion-dollar valuations. Similarly, Athens-based Lambda
Automata, operating within the same field, recently caught the spotlight by securing a €6M investment
from European Union nations. These trends unmistakably illustrate the momentum that artificial intelligence-enhanced
defense solutions are accruing internationally. These developments clearly demonstrate the
growing traction that AI-supported defense solutions are gaining globally.
