VITEC Unveils an Array of Cutting-Edge IP Video Innovations at ISE 2023

VITEC will present an assortment of performance and operational upgrades for both the EZ TV and Avedia (previously Exterity) IPTV and Digital Signage platforms, facilitating users to stream live and on-demand content, design and control digital signage, and disseminate TV and internal content over existing infrastructures.

Avedia IPTV & Digital Signage Platform 

• Device Location View
  The Avedia Platform introduces a feature allowing users to visualize all IPTV end-points, encompassing media players and SmartTVs, in an innovative floorplan layout. Users can upload a floorplan graphic of their premises and observe all devices in place. This is especially beneficial for modifying content around a venue while on the go.
• Workflows App Enhances with Trigger Decks
  The Avedia Workflows app unveils a new, customizable, and user-friendly interface for swiftly initiating multiple workflows. For instance, in multi-use stadiums or arenas hosting varied events, the venue can be tailored for these occasions at the touch of a button.
• Wayfinding Enhanced
  Discover a preview of VITEC’s dynamic wayfinding solution, arriving in 2023, offering step-by-step route mapping for diverse environments that can be tricky to navigate, such as multi-story corporate or healthcare facilities with numerous departments. The revamped content creation interface is utilized to design various routes, incorporating points of interest like stairs, restrooms, parking, etc., using simple click-and-drag maps. End-users engage with the wayfinding solution through touch screen kiosks.
• ArtioSign and ArtioView Prepare for Content Creation’s Future
  VITEC unveils a first glimpse of the brand new and refined content creation interfaces for ArtioSign (Digital Signage) and ArtioView (Interactive IPTV portal) applications, set to debut in 2023. The completely revamped interfaces encompass a suite of powerful new attributes designed to simplify the creation of signage and portals like never before.

• Real-time end-point HDMI output snapshot – The Signage Director now grants operators visual insights through a live display of the video and graphics from EP5 and EP5+ End-Point outputs to the television.

EZ TV Player Lite HTML5 Browser Player
The award-winning EZ TV Player Lite HTML5 browser Player incorporates numerous enhancements, including:

• Instant playback of VOD and NDVR recordings directly from within Player Lite.
• Improved security compatibility for SRT streams, allowing the playback of streams secured with SRT + MPEG-TS AES technology.
• Support for RTSP streams.
• View, search, and playback VOD assets with multiple segments.
• Dynamic support for content security and permission alterations applied on the EZ TV Platform Server.

• EZ TV Player App now extends support to LG WebOS 6.0 (alongside WebOS 4.1).

EZ TV Mobile App

• Virtual remote capability for managing end-points and TVs via your smartphone or tablet. Integrates with the EZ TV Platform’s active directory feature, enabling control restrictions for end-points and TVs based on users’ AD credentials.
