Hensoldt Unveils Advanced Radar Technology for Next-Gen Eurofighter Quadriga Jets

Within the framework of the Quadriga program, HENSOLDT has been tasked by the European EuroRADAR consortium to manufacture and supply radar electronic components, which will be produced at HENSOLDT’s facility in Ulm. The consortium also encompasses pivotal players such as Indra, Leonardo Italy, and Leonardo UK.

“We have been collaborating effectively with our EuroRADAR associates for numerous years,” stated Erwin Paulus, Head of the Radar & Naval Solutions division at HENSOLDT. “On this foundation, we will guarantee that the new Eurofighters are equipped with advanced sensor technology, even as the radar undergoes further enhancements at this moment.”

The EuroRADAR consortium has already supplied over 400 radars for the Eurofighters currently operational today. HENSOLDT has played a significant role in their development and production within the consortium from the outset. Last year, HENSOLDT was granted the contract to further enhance the radar for the German and Spanish Eurofighter fleets to the latest Mk1 specification as the lead contractor alongside Indra.
