Kazakhstan Strengthens Its Border Capabilities with New C295 Aircraft Order
The Border Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan is set to enhance its fleet by signing a substantial order for one C295 medium transport aircraft. This agreement encompasses integral components such as training, spare parts, and ground support equipment, bringing the total C295 fleet operating in Kazakhstan to nine aircraft.
The newly acquired C295, designed for transport, is expected to play a crucial role in essential border control and homeland security operations. With its proven reliability, low operational costs, and efficiency in harsh temperatures, the C295 is an ideal asset for these vital missions.
With this latest acquisition, Kazakhstan becomes the 31st operator of the C295, increasing the total orders for this aircraft within the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) to an impressive 13 units.
