“Ascend into Tomorrow: Discover Lockheed Martin’s Cutting-Edge Aviation Breakthroughs at Bahrain International Airshow 2024”
Lockheed Martin is set to participate in the Bahrain International Airshow 2024 (Nov. 13-15), showcasing its latest defense innovations and reiterating its commitment to enhancing regional security partnerships. As a long-time supporter of this event, Lockheed Martin is privileged to return as a Bronze Sponsor for the airshow and as a Platinum Sponsor for the Manama Air Power Symposium (MAPS), the official conference scheduled for Nov. 12.
The MAPS, conducted under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and supported by the Royal Bahrain Air Force and the Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunication, is anticipated to assemble 300 air force leaders and operators, policymakers, and industry trailblazers from over 36 countries to explore the future of aerial superiority and defense frameworks. Lockheed Martin will interact with key stakeholders from Bahrain and the broader region to discuss innovative technologies that can tackle rapidly evolving security challenges in today’s complex environment.
Gen. Gary L. North, USAF (Ret.), Lockheed Martin’s Vice President of Customer Requirements, will moderate a discussion panel at MAPS on Nov. 12 titled “Maintaining the Technological Edge in Air Superiority and Defense Capabilities.” On Nov. 14, Gen. North will deliver a keynote address at the airshow, “The Future of Combat Aviation and the Role of Advanced Technology,” which will focus on how Lockheed Martin’s cutting-edge innovations continue to shape the future of aerial power and support the defense objectives of its partners.
