RUAG Secures SAR Endorsement for J85-GE21 Engine Program

 RUAG has attained SAR (Source Approval Request) certification for the maintenance and refurbishment of J85-GE21 engines for the federal government of the United States. Only vendors with SAR certification are considered for bids and contracts with the U.S. Department of Defense. With SAR approval for complete engines in the F-5 service sector, RUAG will persist in fortifying its strategic alliance with clients for the long haul and deliver top-notch services. 

 The SAR certification for maintenance, refurbishment, and overhaul of J85-G21 engines, particularly utilized in F-5 fighter aircraft, represents a distinct quality endorsement for RUAG based on verified technical ability and extensive experience. This accolade was bestowed by the U.S. Department of Defense and remains valid for several years. Only vendors holding SAR endorsement are eligible for tenders and contracts from the U.S. Department of Defense as well as for third-party (foreign military sales) opportunities.
