Mistral and UVision Land Major HERO 120 Deal with the US Army’s LUS Initiative

Mistral Inc., a prominent supplier of cutting-edge defense solutions, in conjunction with Uvision Inc. (previously called UVision USA), declared today that the U.S. Army has granted a multi-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) agreement worth $982 million for the Lethal Unmanned System (LUS) initiative aimed at acquiring, deploying, instructing, and maintaining the HERO 120 loitering munition system. This award emphasizes the Army’s commitment to precision strike capabilities and operational efficiency.

The HERO 120, created by Uvision Air Ltd. (the parent organization of Uvision Inc.), is a mid-range loitering munition tailored for accurate targeting of armored and high-value objectives. As a worldwide trailblazer and design leader in loitering munitions, Uvision contributes profound technical knowledge and vast experience in training and deploying loitering munitions for militaries and special forces globally. Mistral Inc. will act as the primary contractor accountable for system integration, the lethality package, program oversight, and support maintenance.

This contract encompasses system deliveries, training, and lifecycle support. Initial shipments are anticipated to commence in early 2026.
