ASELSAN Unveils Cutting-Edge Innovations for Dominating Air Superiority at IDEF 2025
ASELSAN has unveiled state-of-the-art systems for bolstering aerial supremacy, including tactical data link systems from the T-Link series and the ASELFLIR 600 advanced electro-optical targeting system for HALE-class UAVs at IDEF 2025 in İstanbul.
The firm has amplified its standing in intelligent solutions for aerial dominance with these recent unveiling.
ASELSAN, Türkiye’s premier defense contractor, highlights its expanding array of smart aerial solutions at IDEF 2025, aimed at empowering both manned and unmanned systems. Throughout the event, the company has presented its innovative solutions engineered to provide enhanced situational awareness, secure network-centric operations, and precision strike capabilities in intricate and contested aerial scenarios.

For airborne reconnaissance and precise targeting, ASELSAN has unveiled the ASELFLIR 600, its most cutting-edge electro-optical system thus far. Crafted for HALE-class UAVs, it advances the legacy of ASELFLIR 500 featuring a larger 25-inch gimbal, increased aperture, and multispectral optics. Equipped with AI-enhanced object recognition, HD multi-band sensors, and a long-range laser suite, ASELFLIR 600 provides exceptional detection, recognition, and identification (DRI) capabilities even in demanding situations.
The T-LINK National Tactical Data Link series (T-LINK A, C, M, G), showcased at IDEF 2025, furnishes a secure and resilient foundation for collaborative aerial operations. Engineered for comprehensive interoperability across airborne, terrestrial, naval, and missile platforms, the T-LINK family facilitates encrypted, electronic warfare-resistant transmission of tactical data and voice communications across both mobile and fixed nodes. By ensuring seamless network integration, it guarantees real-time situational awareness and synchronized operations under the most challenging circumstances, enhancing both mission effectiveness and operational coordination.

Commenting on the launch of the new systems, ASELSAN President & CEO Ahmet Akyol remarked: “With the rollout of solutions from our T-LINK series and ASELFLIR 600, we are transforming intelligent airpower with entirely indigenous, future-ready technologies. These systems exemplify ASELSAN’s capability to provide synchronized connectivity and enhanced sensing, which are essential elements of modern aerial superiority. As we advance towards our 2030 objective of ranking among the top 30 defense companies globally, we remain devoted to pioneering technologies that grant our forces and allies a competitive advantage in the skies.”
