Valencia’s Bell Training Academy Unveils Cutting-Edge 429 Technical Training!

To offer additional training alternatives for its worldwide clientele, particularly for operators in the EMEA regions, the Bell Training Academy has recently broadened its technical training offerings in Valencia, Spain. The BTA Valencia team has introduced courses that were formerly available at its Fort Worth, TX location, presenting two new extensive programs for maintenance technicians, aimed at delivering a thorough overview of the aircraft along with detailed maintenance education.

Certified by (DGCA, EASA, GCAA, UK CAA), the Bell 429 field maintenance course encompasses an extensive exploration of the specifications, functions, and maintenance protocols necessary for field maintenance. Utilizing a newly installed Bell 429 airframe, participants gain both classroom instruction and hands-on experience related to the airframe, ground handling and servicing, main rotor, and main rotor controls. Furthermore, they review the main rotor drive system, powerplant (installation and rigging in relation to the airframe), fuel system, tail rotor drive system, tail rotor, hydraulic systems, flight controls, and electrical systems.

Instructors will impart both theoretical and practical type training focused on the Bell 429 aircraft to certify engineers. Bell mandates that all certified technicians must complete the written exams solely in English without the aid of an interpreter or digital translator. The duration of this course is four weeks with the following schedule: July 7, 2025 – August 1, 2025; October 6, 2025 – October 31, 2025.
