Boosting Military Employment: GAMI and Human Resources Development Fund Forge New Strategic Alliance
The General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI), in strategic collaboration with the Human Resources Development Fund (HRDF), has proclaimed assistance for private sector entities functioning within the military industries domain. This initiative seeks to empower national workforce and create enduring employment opportunities consistent with the Military Industries Human Capital Strategy within the Kingdom.
The results of this collaboration indicate that military industries sector entities will receive backing of up to 50% of an employee’s salary, capped at SAR 3,000. This enhances these entities’ capability to draw in national talent and secure job stability.
The “Employment Support” initiative offers direct financial aid targeted at businesses, primarily aimed at motivating companies to hire Saudis in a swiftly expanding sector. This corresponds with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to localize over 50% of public expenditure on military apparatus and services.
Private sector entities engaged in the military industries sector that aspire to take advantage of this assistance can do so by accessing the Human Resources Development Fund’s digital services via their business account and selecting the “Employment Support” initiative from the list of programs.
This initiative operates within a comprehensive framework of programs being executed by GAMI in partnership with its collaborators. The objective is to empower national human resources and fortify local content in military industries, assisting in the realization of the Kingdom’s ambitious localization goals by 2030.
