General Dynamics Land Systems disclosed that it has received a $712.3 million contract from the U.S. Army for 300 Stryker DVHA1 vehicles.

This recent contract stems from a five-year agreement established in 2020, which includes an option for an additional sixth year.

The Army is striving for enhanced survivability and capabilities within its Stryker brigades using the cutting-edge DVHA1s.

“The Stryker A1 is equipped with a 450-horsepower engine, 60,000-pound suspension, 910-amp alternator, and an in-vehicle digital network while continuing to ensure unmatched soldier survivability,” stated Gordon Stein, vice president of U.S. operations at General Dynamics Land Systems.

“Stryker represents the Army’s largest fleet of combat vehicles – proven in combat, cost-efficient, highly mobile, adaptable, sustainable, and easily transportable,” remarked Stein. “We take pride in the fact that our innovation, research, development, and investment have transformed the Stryker into a next-generation platform for Stryker Brigade Combat Team formations and beyond.”
