Oshkosh Defense Marks Milestone with the Rollout of the 10,000th JLTV

Oshkosh Defense, LLC, a subsidiary of Oshkosh Corporation (NYSE: OSK), declared today that the firm has recently manufactured its 10,000th Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV).

This remarkable achievement highlights more than ten years of exclusive expertise in conceiving, constructing, and delivering the globe’s most efficient light tactical vehicle. Since the contract was granted to Oshkosh Defense in August 2015, the company has developed a strong and reliable supply network; refined its production methods to maximize effectiveness; and delivered JLTVs at a contractual price significantly lower than the Government’s estimated costs.

“This achievement is a genuine reflection of the commitment and pride that our team members take in the JLTV program, which has become an integral element of the U.S. military’s ground forces,” stated George Mansfield, Vice President and General Manager of Joint Programs for Oshkosh Defense. “Producing the 10,000th JLTV in fewer than five years further illustrates our capacity to fulfill the needs of both our domestic and global clientele by offering the world’s most effective light tactical vehicle at an attractive price. We are eager to keep collaborating with our military partners to enhance and broaden this platform.”

Up to now, Oshkosh Defense has secured orders for 18,126 JLTVs, amounting to a total contract value exceeding $6 billion. More than 6,500 of these vehicles have been deployed with Warfighters worldwide, including at over 30 U.S. and international military bases.

International demand for the Oshkosh Defense JLTV continues to surge. The company has garnered orders or commitments from seven NATO and non-NATO allies, comprising the United Kingdom, Belgium, Montenegro, Slovenia, Lithuania, Brazil, and North Macedonia.
