Hensoldt Enhances CAE’s Aviation Surveillance Arsenal with Cutting-Edge Radar Technology
Sensor solutions expert HENSOLDT is set to provide another multi-mission surveillance radar, PrecISR™, to one of the leading airborne surveillance entities, CAE Aviation, based in Luxembourg. CAE Aviation, which operates an extensive fleet of surveillance aircraft, has chosen to reaffirm its confidence in HENSOLDT by granting them a contract for the delivery of an additional PrecISR™1000. This marks the second order, following the supply of the initial PrecISR™ in 2021.
PrecISR™ radars are currently utilized by skilled ISR professionals from CAE Aviation in challenging operational zones for a variety of mission types, catering to highly demanding end-users.
PrecISR™ boasts remarkable Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) and Ground Moving Target Indicator (GMTI) functionalities, empowering its users to detect and track an extensive range of small moving targets of interest (such as troops, convoys, and suspicious vehicles) in real-time. The PrecISR™ technology guarantees dependable and precise monitoring of both static and mobile threats, even under adverse weather conditions that could impede EO/IR sensor outcomes.
