Elevating the Skies: The Groundbreaking MURAD 100-A AESA Radar by ASELSAN Makes Its Debut with Bayraktar KIZILELMA

The fusion of these engagement functionalities with beyond-visual-range missile guidance establishes MURAD 100-A as a vital innovation for modern aerial combat, significantly boosting the operational prowess of both manned and unmanned aircraft. Its integration with the Bayraktar AKINCI was finalized in 2024, with the initial flight on AKINCI taking place in February 2025, followed by several test flights confirming its radar functionalities.

With the integration on KIZILELMA now achieved, the radar unveils groundbreaking capabilities, facilitating simultaneous multi-target detection, tracking, and missile guidance. The successful inaugural flight confirms its versatility with diverse aerial platforms and readiness for deployment.

Designed for contemporary aerial warfare, MURAD 100-A incorporates extensive frequency coverage, outstanding detection performance, GaN-based power optimization, digital beamforming at the sub-array level, along with time-interleaved operations, ensuring precise and reliable functionality in both air-to-air and air-to-surface scenarios.
