Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – 5 November 2025: Saudi Arabian Military Industries (SAMI), the national leader in defense and security, a PIF enterprise, graciously hosted His Majesty Sultan Ibrahim Iskandar, the King of Malaysia, along with his esteemed entourage, including the Minister of Tourism H.E. Ahmed Al-Khateeb, during his significant visit to SAMI Alsalam Aerospace Industries, a subsidiary of SAMI, as part of his official trip to the Kingdom.
Upon arrival, His Majesty and his delegation were greeted by Eng. Thamer AlMuhid, Chief Executive Officer of SAMI, alongside high-ranking company officials.
During the tour, His Majesty explored the company’s facilities and received insights into its sophisticated capabilities in aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO), along with its role in localizing the aerospace sector in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030. This initiative strengthens the Kingdom’s defense industry ecosystem and bolsters its growing stature within the international aerospace arena.
