Spain Joins the Elite Club: Welcoming the Sixteenth PAC-3 Partner Nation!

Representatives from the United States and Spain have solidified a pact for Spain to acquire Lockheed Martin’s Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) Missile Segment Enhancement (MSE) missiles along with essential support apparatus. This agreement positions Spain as the 16th allied nation in the PAC-3 initiative.

“At Lockheed Martin, our commitment lies in empowering our clients to stay ahead of emerging, highly disputed threats,” stated Brian Kubik, vice president of PAC-3 Programs at Lockheed Martin. “As the globe’s most sophisticated air defense missile, PAC-3 will elevate Spain’s national defense skills and boost their efficiency in the 21st Century Security® combat environment.”

PAC-3 MSE boasts cutting-edge capabilities to counter various imminent threats, such as tactical ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, hypersonic projectiles, and aircraft. By incorporating PAC-3 MSE into its defense inventory, Spain will enhance its aerial and missile defense systems against progressively complex threats.
