
Soaring High: Commemorating the Arrival of Our 2,700th Aircraft!
The 2,700th C-130 Hercules has been successfully integrated into the global fleet, representing an extraordinary achievement in tactical airlift operations. This legendary aircraft, a KC-130J Super Hercules, is now part of the U.S. Marine Corps Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron 252 inventory based at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, North Carolina.
Distinguished by its unmatched versatility and proven effectiveness, the C-130 Hercules is operational in 70 nations, conducting diverse missions at any given time and location. The recent production variant — the C-130J Super Hercules — is certified for 18 unique mission profiles, including aerial refueling with the KC-130J variant.
