Patria Stands Firmly Behind the Estonian XA-180 and XA-188 Armored Vehicles
The Estonian Centre for Defence Investment (ECDI) and Patria have extended the Life Cycle Support Agreement for the XA-180 and XA-188 fleets produced by Patria. This renewed pact aims to assist ECDI in the upkeep, restoration, modifications, and supply of spare components for the XA fleet.
The prior agreement was established in 2013 and remained valid from 2014 until the conclusion of 2021. The previous contract was signed with the Estonian Defence Forces, while the new one is specifically with ECDI. The revamped agreement is effective for the next seven years.
“Patria’s Life Cycle Support services for our offerings are a crucial aspect of our operations. We strive not only to provide our clientele with superior products but also to ensure a cost-effective and extended product life cycle through customized maintenance solutions and support. Our collaboration with the Estonian Defence Forces spans several years, and we are delighted to sustain this partnership with ECDI for a minimum of seven years to maintain the XA fleets in service,” states Jussi Järvinen, President of Patria’s Land Business Unit.
