Boeing Unveils Next-Gen Electronic Warfare Solutions for the U.S. F-15 Squadron

Boeing to Deliver Cutting-Edge Electronic Warfare Systems

Boeing has secured an $80 million agreement for the F-15 Eagle Passive Active Warning and Survivability System (EPAWSS) low-rate initial production.

Completion of the project is anticipated by December 31, 2026.

Eagle Passive Active Warning and Survivability System

The EPAWSS equips the U.S. Air Force F-15 fleet with state-of-the-art electronic warfare capabilities. This cohesive digital avionics solution is engineered to shield the F-15E Eagle from adversarial air defense systems. It provides fully integrated radar detection, geo-location abilities, situational awareness, and self-defense strategies to identify and neutralize both surface and airborne threats. Armed with sophisticated electronic countermeasures, it allows for deeper infiltration of modern integrated air defense systems, ensuring swift response capabilities to safeguard the aircrew.

The EPAWSS protects against RF and IR threat systems that identify or obtain precise targeting data before threat engagement, thus complicating and/or nullifying an enemy’s targeting solution. The system mitigates threats utilizing its array of components employing electro-optical and RF methodologies.
