Fahad Al Mheiri Takes the Helm as Managing Director of Raytheon Emirates

Raytheon Emirates Limited, a subsidiary of Raytheon Technologies based in Abu Dhabi, has declared the selection of Fahad Mohammed Al Mheiri as the managing director.

Al Mheiri, who formerly held the position of deputy managing director at Raytheon Emirates, will supervise the defense localization efforts of Raytheon Emirates, nurture the enterprise’s deep-rooted connections with the UAE’s defense landscape, and enhance local expertise, collaborations, and capacities.

“Since 1987, when the inaugural Hawk systems were delivered to the UAE, Raytheon has been a pivotal strategic ally of the Emirates,” stated Al Mheiri. “I am eager to expand the firm’s lasting partnership with the UAE by ensuring Raytheon Emirates assumes an expanding role in the defense sector to fulfill the country’s immediate and upcoming requirements – particularly in the realm of Emirati talent cultivation and ‘made in the UAE’ aerospace and defense offerings.”

Prior to joining Raytheon Emirates, Al Mheiri served at the United Arab Emirates Space Agency (UAESA) as the acting executive director of the UAE Space Sector and at the Emirates Defense Industries Company as the executive director of commercial development (EDIC).
