ASELSAN Unleashes Next-Gen Technology for Air Dominance at IDEF 2025

ASELSAN has introduced cutting-edge systems designed to enhance aerial dominance, including tactical data link solutions from the T-Link series and the ASELFLIR 600 sophisticated electro-optical targeting system for HALE-class UAVs showcased at IDEF 2025 in İstanbul.

The company has reinforced its position in intelligent solutions for aerial superiority with this recent presentation.

ASELSAN, Türkiye’s leading defense manufacturer, is showcasing its expanding selection of intelligent aerial solutions at IDEF 2025, aimed at empowering both manned and unmanned systems. Throughout the exhibition, the organization has unveiled its innovative solutions crafted to deliver superior situational awareness, secure network-centric operations, and precision strike functions in complex and contested aerial environments.

For aerial reconnaissance and accurate targeting, ASELSAN has revealed the ASELFLIR 600, its most advanced electro-optical system to date. Designed for HALE-class UAVs, it enhances the legacy of ASELFLIR 500 with a larger 25-inch gimbal, expanded aperture, and multispectral optics. Featuring AI-augmented object recognition, HD multi-band sensors, and an extensive laser suite, ASELFLIR 600 delivers outstanding detection, recognition, and identification (DRI) abilities even in challenging conditions.

The T-LINK National Tactical Data Link series (T-LINK A, C, M, G), which was featured at IDEF 2025, provides a secure and robust framework for cooperative aerial missions. Crafted for full interoperability across airborne, terrestrial, naval, and missile platforms, the T-LINK lineup enables encrypted, electronic warfare-resistant transmission of tactical data and voice communications across both mobile and stationary nodes. By ensuring seamless network integration, it offers real-time situational awareness and synchronized operations under the most demanding conditions, thus improving mission effectiveness and operational coordination.

In response to the release of these innovative systems, ASELSAN President & CEO Ahmet Akyol commented: “With the launch of solutions from our T-LINK series and ASELFLIR 600, we are revolutionizing intelligent airpower through entirely indigenous, future-ready technologies. These systems embody ASELSAN’s ability to provide synchronized connectivity and enhanced sensing, critical components of modern aerial superiority. As we progress towards our 2030 goal of being among the top 30 defense companies worldwide, we remain committed to innovating technologies that provide our forces and allies a competitive edge in the skies.”
